About Us
The Hitting Academy is the most state-of-the-art indoor baseball and softball training facility in the country. Our facility is designed for the serious athlete in mind who wants to gain that "competitive edge" in baseball or softball.
Through our "System", athletes can train in an environment that is usually found only at a major University or a Major League Baseball Complex. We use only the finest training and teaching aids on the market to teach our clients the proper fundamentals for success.
Our professional staff of experienced instructors offers individual and group baseball clinics year-round so players can stay on top of their game. Our facility is also great for those who want to come in and take a few swings off of the most technologically advanced pitching machines available. We are dedicated to helping baseball and softball enthusiasts of all ages achieve success at their sport.
The Hitting Academy grew out of a love of baseball and recognition of the need in the market for these services by Rob Ciaravino. Having grown up playing baseball, coaching middle school and high school baseball for 18 years and having coached in summer camps with Skip Bertman at Louisiana State University for 6 years, baseball was always in Rob's blood. One of the key aspects that Rob learned from Skip Bertman and his success at LSU, where he won five national championships, was the system for coaching players. This system allows instructors at The Hitting Academy to be able to breakdown the essentials for a player and to be able to coach them to a new level of performance.
After repeated requests from others who want to open The Hitting Academy in their area, we decided to offer our sports franchise.
